UPDATED AT BOTTOM OF POST - Pretty, Well-Spoken American Muslim Girl Tells The Truth About Islam

Is this young lady a "Moderate Muslim"?
Her immediate reply that she would "kill" her sister could easily be dismissed as the loose talk of a teenager. And to some extent, it probably is.

However, it is not easy to take it as merely loose talk when one takes into consideration that the penalty for Apostasy (leaving Islam) under Sharia is DEATH.

And, in fact, there are numerous Honor Killings (people murdered by members of their family) that take place throughout the world, and even in the West, many in cases where young people have converted away from Islam.

From The Last English Prince:

There is an overall lack of awareness regarding how some Muslims regard the concept of conscience.
With regard to extra-judicial actions in the name of a God, this young adult Muslim woman may not be eloquent in her responses. But she does, in fact, elucidate what is both precedent and modern practice of Islamic jurisprudence.
“I will kill her”
When speaking of “many signs” the young lady is giving a nod to the word ayat, which means “sign” and comparable to what we would note as a “verse” in our scripture.
It is the micro-format of the Qur’an, along with the broader format of Surah (chapter) and a concept known as Juz, which divides the Qur’an into thirty sections – primarily for the task of reading the complete Qur’an during Ramadan.
The lady states “Qu’ran Kareem” and the latter word is one of the ninety-nine names of Allah (with one name unknown). It means “generous”.
The Anglosphere should retain great wariness in a world of uncertainty regarding Islam as ideological nightmare.
As for The Last English Prince, I am quite certain of how Islamic ideology can effect conscience. Apostates are to be placed in isolation, allowed three days to repent, and then if they do not recant they are to be killed.
These rulings from the Islamic Caliphates are on my shelves, complete with examples.
There is a Surah which also addresses the issue of independence from Islam. It is addressed specifically to the “Unbelievers”.
Please note the tafseer (commentary) for ayat 13-37 and the reference to Jews, etc.
